About

I was born and raised in Connecticut, where my love for art began. As a child, I was always dabbling in different crafts at school and in my free time. I loved to sketch and would occasionally paint alongside my father, who created landscape paintings as a hobby. When I went off to college, I knew I wanted to pursue Fine Arts.

After graduating, I continued to sketch and paint. In 2019, I purchased my first set of watercolor paints. Although I went to school for Fine Arts, watercolor painting was not offered as a class at the time. I immediately fell in love with the translucency, texture, and unique effects that watercolor makes possible.

In 2022, my husband and I relocated to Florida. Inspired by the beautiful scenery around me, my work began to reflect the tropical landscapes and colors of my new home.

Although watercolor is still a favorite of mine, I don’t like to limit myself to one medium. I also enjoy experimenting with mixed media, adding texture, and working with different materials. Trying new things and seeing where they lead is an important part of my creative process!

I hope my art brings beauty, inspiration, and a little bit of joy into every day life.
